Decorating with Purses
Antique purses are true artwork. Beads are like tiny pixels that shade, define, and aggregate to create beautiful, detailed and intricate designs. I like to display my purses so that I can enjoy them, and guests can learn more about them.
If I run across a rare purse that cannot be restored, I might frame it, as I did the purple Egyptian bag. There was only one side left of this bag when I purchased it. A local couple that operates a frame shop in their Victorian home created the matting and framed the Venetian purse in a lovely shadowbox that was a gift from a co-worker. I like displaying it in a bookcase.
Display shelves with knobs are always inviting to purses.
