Antique beaded purse restoration is my passion and my specialty. I've studied and collected an extensive inventory of antique seed beads in all colors, cuts and sizes. My collection dates from the early 1800s to the 1940s, enabling me to use authentic, period-precise matches for restorations.

I have been studying, collecting and restoring antique purses for over 30 years. Thousands of beaded purses have passed through my hands. In addition to restoration, I have shared my knowledge and love of antique beaded purses in professional speaking engagements across the country.Authenticity

Having studied purses for most of my adult life, I am able to create fringes based on the original designs that would have been used, and I have the right beads for the job. Replacing Skimpy Fringe
This steel beaded figural purse had a skimpy fringe. The fringe I added represents ten hours of work. It is multi-colored with six color changes, and tightly twisted loops.
Repairing Holes & Rips
This wonderful but tattered figural purse had a very large hole, about the size of a silver dollar, on one side. It was very fragile around the top ragged edge.
Total Repair & Restoration
This woven purse, dated 1919, was in tatters when it arrived. I wanted to save it beacause it has historical significance, and is thought to represent the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.
